A strong infrastructure consisting of various bus lines, major highways, railroads, and an international airport makes Flint, MI appealing to some people. But, what you may not know is that Flint has an astronomically high crime rate. In fact, it was named the most dangerous city in America by Business Insider in June of 2013. This rating was based on statistics from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Flint was devastated economically back in the 70’s and 80’s, when car manufacturers left. Since then, it’s been struggling mightily to regain its footing.
