Tyler, TX, has the nickname of the rose capital of the world due to its abundance of rose bushes. Tyler has a population of 90,000 and with its expanding economy there is no sign of recession. Several large manufacturers are proud to call Tyler home, such as Tyler Pipe, Carrier and Trane. The humid sub tropical climate may be the one thorn to this otherwise city of roses.
