Fairfield is the midpoint between the cities of San Francisco and Sacramento. Located here is the Travis Air Force Base and the Jelly Belly jelly bean factory. Fairfield has a diverse economy, with government, manufacturing, health care, retail, professional and commercial work places – it is head of Solano County. Unfortunately, the city gets bad traffic, and it is located in one of the few areas of the larger San Francisco bay area that isn’t lush and gorgeous.
