Bawlamer has what we like to call “dichotomy.” It’s a two-faced place, a real dilemma of aspirations. On one hand, it harkens back to its heyday, a time when its brick rowhouses were built and its industry was vibrant. However, that time has long since let the city down. On the other hand, the city is looking forward, renovating the downtown and bringing in jobs by the call center. But everyone agrees those jobs are pretty lame and downtown is no place to be alone at night. I don’t know… where was I going with this?
