Santa Maria, CA, is known for two things that many Americans love – wine and barbecue. They are part of one of the nation’s largest wine-producing regions, and they were named the best BBQ town in the west by Sunset Magazine. If you’re heading there, you can expect dry conditions and not much in the way of seasonal weather changes. If you’re a snow lover, this is not the place for you.
