Los Angeles Moving Information
It doesn’t get much bigger, brighter or better than Los Angeles. The home of Hollywood, Venice Beach and style, L.A. offers star-struck shows, artsy galleries and boutiques, 5-star dining, and celebrities, of course.
It also doesn’t get much bigger, slower or smoggy than Los Angeles. The city spreads fasts through the valley, and residents need to drive everywhere to keep up. The sprawl leads to traffic, smog and hundreds of wasted hours yelling at the car in front of you to stop braking already.
But it’s still L.A. It might take an hour to drive somewhere, but that somewhere is there. Everything is there, every fashion, every cuisine, every genre, subgenre and genre soon-to-be; they’re all there, basking comfortably under the warm, California sun. The economy is so big that it can be broken down into industries (i.e. films, law) that are larger that the economies of entire cities, and by populations (i.e. Koreans, Mexicans, students) that have a stronger foothold in L.A. than just about anywhere else in the U.S.
If you’re thinking about moving to L.A., you have a lot to learn, including which neighborhood would be best for you. Read our article to get more of an idea of L.A.’s pros and cons, then check out some LA moving companies.
