About Unpack It!
Unpack It! provides professional unpacking and home organizing services to the Washington D.C. Metro area including Maryland and Northern Virginia. We have decades of moving experience and have moved our own households across the country and overseas more than twenty times between us. This experience has given us a rare perspective on moving.
We have found that while moving companies do a great job of getting things from point A to B, the service typically stops there. Once a house is full of boxes and furniture, the movers do not take the final steps to set up the household, like thoughtfully unpacking delicate clothing, dishes, and valuable personal items and placing them in a logical, organized fashion. Further, most moving companies won't make the bed, fold towels, hang pictures, or hook up electronics. If we wanted move-in service with a personal touch, there was nowhere to turn, and unpacking everything and setting up a new household ourselves took months of wasted weekends!
We founded Unpack It! so that when you arrive at your new home - it's ready! No more spending day after day holed up in your house unpacking boxes and getting organized.
